The Big Idea
One screw rotor. Two gate rotors. Zero bearing load.
Mitsui Seiki's Z-screw uses one screw rotor meshing with two gate rotors — radial and axial forces theoretically cancel to zero, eliminating the bearing-wear failure mode that limits twin-screw compressor life. Combined with an IPM (interior permanent magnet) inverter motor and direct coupling, the Zgaiard ZV series delivers world-class energy efficiency, ultra-low noise, and the legendary durability Mitsui Seiki has refined since launching the Z-screw in 1972.
Manufactured at the Mitsui Seiki Kogyo home plant in Saitama, Japan — the same precision facility that builds Mitsui Seiki machine tools.
