A compressor is only as efficient as the pipework that delivers its air. Jim Services designs, supplies and installs hot-dip galvanised iron (GI) CDA piping — corrosion-resistant, leak-tight threaded ring mains sized to your real air demand. Properly engineered piping eliminates pressure drop, removes moisture pockets and stops the 5–10% energy waste that leaks in undersized or rusty pipework cause every single year.

We size every CDA pipework job to your factory's actual FAD (free air delivery), maximum simultaneous demand and longest run length. The result is a ring-main loop with proper drop legs, automatic drain points, isolation valves at each branch and full-bore ball valves at every machine takeoff — so a single tool change or maintenance job never shuts the whole plant. Hot-dip galvanised iron pipe and malleable iron fittings give long service life in Malaysian humidity without the cost of stainless or aluminium modular systems.

GI pipe with malleable iron threaded fittings resists corrosion from condensate far better than black steel, and costs a fraction of stainless or modular aluminium for the same long service life in Malaysian factory conditions.

Looped ring-main layout halves effective pressure drop at peak demand and keeps every drop leg fed from two directions. Automatic drains at each low point remove condensate before it reaches your tools.

Hot-Dip Galvanised Iron Pipe

Medium-class (Class B) or heavy-class (Class C) GI pipe to BS 1387 / MS 863, internally and externally galvanised. Sizes from 1/2" up to 4" depending on flow.

Malleable Iron Threaded Fittings

BS 143 / ISO 49 galvanised malleable iron elbows, tees, sockets, unions and reducers — leak-tight tapered threads sealed with PTFE tape or anaerobic thread sealant.

Full-Bore Ball Valves

Brass or galvanised steel full-bore ball valves at every branch and machine takeoff — quick isolation for tool changes and maintenance without shutting the ring.

Drop Legs & Auto Drains

Vertical drop legs at each tool point take air from the top of the ring main (drier air) with a condensate collection leg and automatic timer or zero-loss drain at the bottom.

Pipe Supports & Brackets

Galvanised pipe clamps, U-bolts and unistrut supports at code-compliant intervals — keeps the ring straight, prevents sag, accommodates thermal movement.

Leak Test & As-Built Drawing

Every system is pressure-tested at 1.5× working pressure before handover. As-built isometric drawing supplied so you always know where every valve, drain and branch is located.
