Air compressors produce hundreds of litres of oil-contaminated condensate every year — and Malaysian DOE rules forbid discharging it to drain. The ATS Gold Series OWS uses a synthetic pre-filter bag plus an over-sized activated-carbon bag to reduce residual oil to under 10 ppm, so treated water can be discharged safely and you skip the cost of specialist waste haulage.

The Gold Series isn't a classic decantation separator. There's no settling tank full of contaminated condensate and no external oil collection drum. Condensate enters the removable depressurisation chamber, drops into the monoblock plastic tank, passes through the synthetic pre-filter bag and then through the over-sized activated-carbon bag — emerging clean enough to discharge directly to the drainage system. Crucially, the bag-based design works on modern synthetic compressor lubricants (PAO, ESTER, VCL) that have nearly the same specific gravity as water and cannot be separated by traditional gravity decantation.
Five sizes cover compressors from 10 HP up to 350 HP. The unique TWIN configuration lets you parallel two or three units later to double or triple capacity — or to push residual oil even lower — without replacing the original separator.

Modern PAO / ESTER / VCL compressor lubricants have a specific gravity close to water and cannot be separated by traditional decantation tanks. The Gold Series bag design captures them where gravity separators fail.
The only separator on the market that can run as a single or twin / triple column. Add a second or third unit later to double or triple flow capacity, or to push residual oil even lower — installable any time, not just at first commissioning.
No oil collection drum, no decantation tank, small footprint. Service interval is a quick bag swap — replacement kits (OWS.xxxxx.K0.00) are stocked for all five sizes. Monoblock plastic tank means zero leak risk through the bodywork.
Top chamber detaches and rotates so drain connections can face front or rear — easy to retrofit into a tight plant-room corner. Contains its own activated carbon filter to prevent atmospheric oil-vapour contamination.
Heavy-duty single-piece plastic body — no welds, no seams, no leakage path. Will not corrode in contact with acidic compressor condensate the way carbon-steel tanks do.
First-stage filtration bag captures bulk oil droplets and solid particulates, protecting the downstream carbon bag and extending its service life. Sized generously for long change-out intervals.
Polishing-stage adsorption bag with an intentionally over-sized carbon mass. Captures dissolved oil and emulsified hydrocarbons down to the <10 ppm specification.
Optional inter-unit piping turns two or three OWS units into a parallel bank — doubling or tripling flow capacity, or arranging them in series for ultra-low residual oil. Field-installable on the existing unit at any time.
Genuine ATS replacement kits (OWS.00170.K0.00 through OWS.03600.K0.00) keep the unit in spec. Stocked locally by Jim Services for fast turnaround.
Nominal data: 25 °C ambient, 7 barg inlet air pressure, screw compressor. Apply a derating factor at higher ambient temperature and humidity. For compressors above 350 HP or non-standard lubricants, contact us for a technical sizing.
